Marty Comments:
Ryan was a typical teen with one giant difference: he was motivated
to change. Halfway between boy and man, Ryan is learning to not go to
the ‘child place’ when faced with discomfort. The weight training
is teaching him that putting up with momentary discomfort results in
physical progress. On day one, week one, his low pain tolerance prevented
him from extending himself at all. Now he has learned to extend himself
and his lifting has taken off. Formerly a sedentary teen with poor eating
habits, his rapid weight loss, strength gains and new muscle has made
him disciplined in his eating. When he discovered he was allowed to
eat great tasting foods in large quantities everything changed. He is
just now getting real traction: his soaring lifts, newfound energy and
reduced body fat percentile he’s laid a solid foundation for really
substantial future gains. He will bench press 200-pounds and weigh below
200 within eight weeks.
